Americans So Crazy
Honestly, what else would people think?
Let’s start with the big problem.
This.
Decades in the making. Meanwhile the people on the right and the left in congress keep saying, “Debt doesn’t have meaning for governments.”
You know that has never been true, right? Not one time in history has that proven correct.
Politicians. They like to ignore problems until they blow up and then ride in to “fix the problem.” But what happens when you wait so long that you can’t see the bottom of the problem (the great abyss).

a deep or seemingly bottomless chasm.
Here, I’ll let you take another quick look. After all, it’s grown since you looked at it just 13 lines up in this article.
China learns that Tik Tok may be banned here and what do they do? They sue us, of course. Think about this. Would you be even allowed to sue China?
Naw. Better stick to how crazy things are here.
Democrats defend illegal “immigrants” saying that being deported is an attack against Americans. The current U.S. president acts as if he can’t hear the courts or orders from courts are up to his interpretation.
The guy that wanted to take a shot at candidate Trump on a golf course in Florida had his lawyers say that the government is inappropriately charging him in violation of his 2d Amendment rights. He’s a felon and doesn’t have these rights, actually. He doesn’t stop there. He also asked that the U.S. not charge him for filing down the serial number on his rifle.
Our government has been managing “soft landings” for the U.S. economy for so long that citizens think they are entitled to a magical outcome. No one is. No one knows the future. And every time we engineer a soft landing the debt goes up again.
And not by a little.
Abraham Lincoln in the 1840s and 50s thought debt was important to power progress. I can only imagine he might throw up in his mouth a little for what serves as progress today.
I think he’d think we are all selfish - because we are.
Since 1945 the U.S. has been “doing things” around the globe. Our will be done? Since at least 2000, the out-of-control spending and giveaways we have been executing have been going against the U.S.
Everything changes.
I’m sorry. You don’t think America should change? Ask the American Indians how the feel about that. They will tell you.
The U.S. was in the most powerful position in the world, especially after the fall of the Berlin Wall, but that time has passed.
Continuing to spend wildly, refusing to work together in congress to be statesmen and do what is best for the country is quite deadly in 2025.
It’s time to change.
What are consequences for this bad debt behavior?
“Successive U.S. administrations and Congress have failed to agree on measures to reverse the trend of large annual fiscal deficits and growing interest costs,” Moody’s analysts said in a statement. “We do not believe that material multi-year reductions in mandatory spending and deficits will result from current fiscal proposals under consideration.”
The pied piper waits for no one.
That giant sucking sound you hear is all the bad behavior and giveaways flushing U.S. dollars and value out of the country.
We can’t just keep pouring into bigger and bigger mistakes.
Or can we?
And for how long?
Sure, we look crazy.
Ask any of us and you might here, “Democracy is messy.”
But We Are A Democratic Republic
A democratic republic is a form of government that combines elements of democracy and republicanism. In this system, power is ultimately held by the people, who exercise their power through elected representatives. This ensures both the participation of citizens in governance and the moderation of government action through a structured set of laws and institutions.
Removing accountability in politicians is actually a disaster.
It’s time to move to compromise and stop participating in the narrative of hate. If we do this, we may return to holding our elected officials accountable. Wouldn’t that be more fun than calling each other stupid? Of course, it would
.Time to rearm “We the people.” This isn’t about party. It’s about us.
